Corrections
Where a published article contains a significant error that does not undermine the overall integrity of the work — such as an incorrect affiliation, figure mislabeling, or minor data transcription error — the Editorial Office may issue a formal correction (erratum) linked to the original article via its DOI.
Retractions
Where confirmed scientific misconduct (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, peer review manipulation, or undisclosed AI fabrication) or a fundamental error invalidates the article's conclusions, the article may be retracted. Retracted articles remain visible online, clearly marked as retracted, with a public notice explaining the reason.
Process
- Concerns may be raised by readers, authors, reviewers, or the Editorial Board to ijstsjournal@gmail.com.
- The Editor-in-Chief investigates, which may include requesting original data or institutional input.
- Authors are given the opportunity to respond before a correction or retraction notice is issued.
