As a Gold Open Access journal, IJSTS makes every article permanently free to read, download, and reuse for readers worldwide, with no subscription paywall. Article Processing Charges, once introduced after the inaugural waiver period, sustain the costs of peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, and long-term archiving.
What an APC Never Affects
The APC is requested only after a manuscript is accepted following independent peer review. It has no influence on editorial decisions, which remain based solely on scientific merit per the journal's Editorial Policies.
Waiver Requests Beyond the Launch Period
Authors from low-and-middle-income countries or facing demonstrable financial hardship may request a waiver or discount by writing to the Editorial Office at ijstsjournal@gmail.com at the time of submission.
